One of the things my publisher recommended I do to help publicise my book was to issue a press release. That seemed easy so I copied their template and emailed to all my local newspapers last night.
I expect that they get dozens of these from cranks everyday so I wasn’t hopeful but at least I’d tried.
But I was pleasantly surprised this afternoon when I received an email from one of my local radio stations asking me to come in and do a live interview on Sunday.
I’ve agreed to do it though I feel completely unprepared. I’ll let you know how it goes.
